Q&A
Do I always have to be with the host family.
You will become a member of the family and therefore be involved with the family's daily life. However you may take the bus into town to go shopping or arrange a day tour.

How do I make activity or Tour reservations?
If you have a special request before arriving, please advise us at the time of booking so arrangements can be made. After arrival simply contact the local coordinator. In some cases the host family will be able to help you also. Some activities do not operate each day and in the event of bad weather, cancellations may occur.

Will the host family provide transport to the activities?
Host happy to take you to places and drop you off to meet tour coaches and activity locations. However hosts are also busy with their lives, work, school etc. Any activities need to planned and discussed with hosts. Petrol money should be given to hosts when a lot of transport is being used or host take you on a day journey etc.

Homestay hosts are generally based in the City, 10-20 minutes from the inner city, close to beaches and visitor attractions.  They are close to inner city bus routes, schools, shopping centres, banks and post offices.

Sample Plan　 Homestay 4 nights 5 days
Day 1	AM	Arrive Auckland Airport Shuttle bus to Tauranga enjoying farmland scenery on the way.
	PM	Arrive Tauranga Meet Lets Homestay staff and discuss schedule during an orientation. Transfer to host family's home and commence the homestay
Day 2	AM	Go to nearby shopping centre with host
	PM	Take a drive to the beach walk along Mount Maunganui beach, enjoy the Salt Water Hot Pools. Return home and help with dinner.
Day 3	AM	Swim with the dolphin activity option
	PM	Shopping in Tauranga
Day 4	FD	Day trip to Rotorua Take the Intercity Bus to Rotorua.  Enjoy the Agrodome farmshow, Maori cultural centre, see geysers and visit the kiwi enclosure.
Day 5	AM	Depart hosts home Shuttle bus to Auckland International Airport.
