Q&A

When can I receive the lessons?
Usually in the morning from 9am to 12 noon. If more than 15 hours per week some afternoons will be used. You can also have a flexible schedule decided between you and the tutor.

How much experience does the tutor have?
All tutors are native speakers and have a tertiary qualification. Tutors are carefully screened and scrutinised.

How many hours can I receive in 1 week?
This will depend on what other things you want to do and accomplish. A good balance of quality lessons and enjoyable lifestyle is the key to a great experience. participants can choose from 10, 15 or 20 hours per week.

A homelesson program is a fantastic way to learn English (or another skill) and experience New Zealand life. Your home tutor maybe an independent qualified teacher or your host. For ESL homelessons a tutor will visit your hosts home.  For other subjects special families are used who are capable of being tutors as well as providing a warm enjoyable family home environment.

Home Lesson Program is primarily for the purpose of learning English as a second language.

Other Studies
Other possibilities include music, art, gardening, cooking and Maori arts and crafts. We will endeavour to arrange for any kind of request.

Home Lesson
Choose your number of hours per week.  10 to 15 hours is recommended. Normally lessons are held on weekday mornings. 20 hours per week course will also have afternoon sessions. English conversation, listening, and reading skills are covered. Lessons can also incorporate excursions and activities to broaden the study experience.

Day 1	AM	Arrive Auckland Airport Shuttle bus to Tauranga enjoying farmland scenery on the way.
	PM	Arrive Tauranga Meet Lets Homestay staff and discuss schedule during an orientation. Transfer to host family's home and commence the homelesson program
Day 2	AM	ESL lesson 3 hours
	PM	Free time, Optional horse riding (extra Cost)
Day 3	AM	ESL lesson 3 hours
	PM	Free time, Shopping in Tauranga
Day 4	FD	Day trip to Rotorua Take the Intercity Bus to Rotorua.  Enjoy the Agrodome farmshow, Maori cultural centre, see geysers and visit the kiwi enclosure.
Day 5	AM	Depart hosts home Shuttle bus to Auckland International Airport.
