Host families are selected to suit each best each participating group member, based on the information supplied in their application form. 1 or 2 students may be placed with a single family.
  
The family will become the students family for the duration of the program. As a member of the family the students will be expected to abide by the family house rules, the same as the other children in the family. Host families also have responsibilities. They will provide transport to the English Activity center each day and collect their student at the end of the day. Provide 3 meals, which includes a lunch box, each day while the students are in their care. Most of all they will give the students the experience of a happy and enjoyable New Zealand home environment.
