Group Program Activities
Being a group we have a wide scope of interesting and exciting activities that can be especially prepared for your group. Below are a sample of what we can do but options are as limited as your imagination.

Kaituna Jet will take you on a 30-minute thrill ride designed to
“blow out the cobwebs”. We’ll start out with 12km journey up the
Kaituna River but be warned – our driver has a serious need for
speed. Be prepared for a fast and furious blast back down river –
360 degree spins included! Powered by V8 Chevrolet engines, with the ability to go 75km/hr, the Kaituna Jet pumps 380 litres of water per second! The jet boats use the famous Hamilton Jet Unit which is a New Zealand invention. |

Briars Horse Treks Horse trekking at the Maketu Heads overlooking the south pacific ocean with give your group an everlasting memory. About 1 hour by bus from Tauranga. Suitable for Groups for up to 20. Tui Glen Horse Treks Based near Kawarau this trekking facility takes your through bush, farmland and rivers. A real feeling of country riding. About 1.5 hours by bus. Suitable for up to 60-70 |

| Rafting | ||||
|
Rafting as a group is exciting. Wet'n'Wild can handle any
size group on many of the rivers it operates on. The main
river trips we cater for is the Kaituna River and The Rangitaiki Kaituna A 45 minute river ride featuring a 7m water fall amongst many other white water terrain. Good half day activity or as part of overnight in Rotorua. Rangitaiki a more relaxing 2 hour trip starting in the white water area and gradually easing to steady river flow. A great trip for a group with more time. A full day trip from Tauranga or great overnight in Rotorua. |

| Mount Maunganui Hike | ||||
| A great half or full day activity. Climb the 230m mount to the summit. Lunch on the top or ascend to enjoy the picturesque mount beach. Following the hike, relax in the Mount Maunganui Salt Water Hot Pools. |

| Waimarino Canoe Centre | ||||
| Based on the tranquil Wairoa River 10 minutes from Tauranga City, Waimarino operates are safe and secure way to learn to kayak. From beginners to experienced, there is a challenge for all. Beyond the kayaks there is a high pole jump, canoe slide and hot spa. |

| Valley High Rope and Paint Ball Challenge | ||||
|
Valley Outdoor High Rope Challenge is based on team effort and
individual confidence. Climb 18m in a harness and walk the
wires above. The Paint Ball Challenge can be a team event war game or just target practice. Either way, heaps of fun. |
