Group Farmstay

Group farmstays are great way to have your students touch the country life of New Zealand during their stay.  They are often 1 or 2 night excursions as part of a bigger program, or they can be just a day visit.  They may be the core stay location for your program

Lets Homestay is in contact with many host families living on farms in the Bay of Plenty and Waikato area.  They are families who love meeting people and showing their guests their wonderful way of life.

Students are split into groups of 3 or 4 and assigned to a farm.  The farms we have available come in all different sizes and each cater for different farming animals. Some have sheep, cows, goats and hens, others milk cows and run horses. Some have pigs and even farm worms! What ever the type of farm you get, we can guarantee an unforgettable experience.

During the farmstay local staff can take group leaders and chaperones around to visit each location and to take photos of their students.

Technical Visits
Lets Homestay can arrange technical visits to various agricultural and horticultural industry related locations for your group.  Some of these include
