Rotorua is the Geothermal heart of New Zealand. A place where the earths surface is so thin, geysers and hot water pools flow out of the ground in abundance. At least a day trip, if not an overnight trip to Rotorua is suggested for every group homestay program.

Journey through the Waikato countryside to Waitomo caves. Enjoy a fantastic tour through the caves on foot and lastly by boat on the small river that runs through the caves. View the beautiful Glow Worms like stars in the night.

Auckland is normally the first and last port of call for most groups in our care, so it make sense that any Auckland touring be done after departing Tauranga and saying farewell to host families.
Auckland offers an ideal day trip or overnight excursion for groups with evening flights. Groups with morning departures will require to stay overnight in the city.
